About the role

Job Title Plastic Fabricator Expert
Duties: You will serve as the principal Plastic Fabricator Expert for the crew and perform inspections of deficient coatings and work in process to ensure supervisor direction is followed, proper standards and practices are followed and rework is minimized. You will conduct random surveillance inspections of in-process preservation to ensure quality and compliance with minimum preservation requirements. You will determine the methods, techniques, materials and devices best suited to perform work with various resins, epoxies, floor coverings, plastic laminates, sound damping, insulation, composite materials and wood. You will prepare, lay out and direct subordinate crews of up to 20 to apply, manufacture and repair coating materials on wood, metal, glass, synthetic and other surfaces. You will provide feedback to design engineers on material characteristics, methods and techniques of manufacture and repair directly effecting design specifications (e.g., strength, durability, cost and aerodynamics).

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
