Job Description:
  • Valid New York Special Education Teacher license required
  • Certification to teach grades 1-6Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Passion for differentiated instruction and inclusive educational practices
Role Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with families, staff, and support services to promote student success
  • Adapt teaching materials and innovative strategies to accommodate varying abilities
  • Maintain accurate records for student progress and compliance
