About the role

Our client, a real estate firm, is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Paralegal to assist them in growing their workload of commercial real estate transactions. This is a hybrid role (4 days per week in office) in Purchase, New York.
Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison with clients and external counsel to facilitate closing transactions. Assist attorneys in all aspects of coordinating finance transactions from pre-closing to closing. Review title commitments and underlying title exception documents. Conduct detailed reviews of surveys and title commitments. Understand and review title exception documents. Perform due diligence, including ordering searches. Order and review zoning reports. Maintain knowledge of REA documents and estoppels.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant working on real estate transactions. College degree or equivalent experience preferred. Experience reviewing title, surveys, exception documents, estoppels, and REA. Knowledge of NetDocs or other document management software is a plus.
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 based on experience.
