About the role
- Clean flame-cut or processed steel parts using hand tools, grinders, or other equipment
- Operate equipment such as shot blast machines or part tumblers to remove scale, slag, or debris from parts
- Inspect finished parts and raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards
- Prepare, package, and label finished parts for shipment or internal movement
- Move and stage materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment as needed
- Perform basic adjustments or clearing of equipment as needed to maintain workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow daily production schedules and work instructions provided by supervisors
- Qualifications & SkillsNo prior manufacturing or warehouse experience required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or climb for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hand and power tools
- Work is performed indoors in a non-climate controlled environment
