About the role

We’re looking for a skilled Denim Technical Designer to partner closely with Design, Product Development, and Patternmaking. In this role, you’ll translate creative concepts into accurate, production-ready technical packages across multiple categories. The ideal candidate has strong pattern and garment-construction knowledge, is confident participating in fit sessions, and thrives in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment.
What You’ll Be Doing: Participate in fit sessions and capture detailed fit comments, measurements, and construction notes in real time. Evaluate garment fit and balance on live models or forms, clearly communicating pattern and construction adjustments. Update and maintain detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction details, BOMs, and specifications. Partner with Patternmaking and Product Development to ensure pattern changes align with fit direction and brand standards. Review prototypes and SMS samples for construction quality, stitch details, finishing, and consistency with approved specifications. Communicate fit and construction updates clearly and accurately across internal teams. Troubleshoot construction and pattern issues to improve fit, consistency, and cost efficiency.
What You’ll Bring: Strong knowledge of patterns, including pattern shapes, grading, fit implications, and alterations. Experience capturing and organizing fit comments and notes during fittings. Solid denim garment-construction knowledge, including seams, finishes, and stitch types. The ability to interpret design intent and translate it into clear technical direction. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines. Proficiency with industry tools such as Adobe Illustrator and PLM systems for tech pack updates. Professional experience as a Technical Designer or in a related role; this is not an entry-level position, but does not require senior-level leadership experience.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
