The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy, with a focus on strengthening existing funding streams, expanding philanthropic support, and driving new donor acquisition. This role requires exceptional relationship management skills, a proven track record in fundraising, and the ability to lead and develop a team of fundraising professionals. The Senior Managing Director will also be tasked with partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess market opportunities and align fundraising strategies with local priorities. Applicants must have at least 10 years of related experience in development and fundraising, with a strong background in soliciting and securing 5- and 6-figure gifts. A Bachelor's degree is required, and a fundraising certification or related Master's degree is preferred. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the philanthropic landscape, the ability to manage a complex donor portfolio, and experience in setting and executing fundraising strategies across multiple markets.
