About the role

Seeking a Nuclear Design Engineer for a long-term remote contract, this position will develop and implement engineering analyses and programs to support the design, construction, and operation of a nuclear fleet, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical expertise to resolve equipment and system issues. Key responsibilities Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis and programs for nuclear plant operations Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulations while leading engineering initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience (5+ years for Senior level) Professional Engineer Registration (preferred) Experience in design and modification of turbines, motors, pumps, and other equipment (preferred) Strong knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and engineering standards
