About This Role
Warehouse Associate:
Immediate opening available for a warehouse professional for a long-standing retail flooring business known for our superior customer service and professional staff. If you are looking for a career, you may be the candidate we’re looking for. If you're a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual, we will provide the tools and training you need to achieve outstanding success. We believe in creating a family friendly work environment, where each person is an integral member of the team, yet responsible for his or her own results.
What You'll Do: Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
- Interacting with the staff, customers; including vendors, commercial and builder accounts, installers, etc.
- Warehouse Management
- Inventory Management
- Ordering/Order Entry
- Receiving; unloading delivery trucks of merchandise
- Keeping Warehouse clean and organized
- Working alongside other showroom and construction site colleagues
- Providing exquisite customer service
- Ability to prioritize and time manage effectively
Requirements: Qualifications for this position:
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to take direction and willing to learn our computer system
- Able to operate a forklift
- Able to move boxes of tile, wood and run carpet cutting machine
- Good people skills
- Independent proactive thinker
- Team player
- Flexible/Open work schedule
