Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical-Mechanical Technician Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electro-mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior technicians and engineers to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the assembly and testing of electro-mechanical systems.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing equipment.
Support the installation of new systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Document maintenance and repair activities accurately.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance system performance.
Participate in ongoing training programs to improve technical skills and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an Associate degree or equivalent program in Electro-Mechanical Technology or a related field.
Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the assembly and repair of electro-mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience through internships or co-op programs in a technical setting.
Knowledge of control systems and PLC programming.
Basic proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting.
Familiarity with CAD software for technical drawings.
