About the role

Electra is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems for the EL9. This role is based in Manassas, Virginia, and focuses on design, prototyping, integration, and testing for a 9-passenger, hybrid‑electric aircraft. You will drive requirements, architectures, and interfaces, oversee supplier evaluation, and supervise electrical system integration and testing, working across IPTs to meet safety and certification
