About the role

Overview As ABX Marketing Lead, you will shape and scale Sage’s U.S. account-based growth across Sage Intacct, X3, and CRE. You will orchestrate the ABX motion across cross-functional partners to improve funnel health, engagement, and revenue impact. This role combines strategy, analytics, and cross-team execution to move from traditional demand generation to an integrated account-aware experience. You’ll drive measurable pipeline outcomes and partner with marketing, sales, data teams, and product marketing to mature ABX at scale. Define how priority accounts and buying groups are identified, segmented, prioritized, and engaged based on fit, intent, engagement, buying stage, and opportunity. Collaborate with Paid ABM Lead to align media strategy, audience targeting, account prioritization, and campaign activation with the ABX journey. Partner with Data Strategy and Analytics to establish target-account views, strengthen measurement, track progression, and improve visibility into account progress or stallpoints. Work with XDR and Sales leadership to improve coordinated follow-up, sales engagement, handoffs, and feedback loops across Marketing and Sales Development. Monitor ABX performance across products using engagement, coverage, progression, opportunity creation, pipeline quality, and revenue outcomes. Identify performance gaps, diagnose root causes, and propose data-backed changes to targeting, investments, plays, processes, campaigns, and measurement. Create repeatable frameworks showing how Marketing, Sales, XDR, Product Marketing, Data, Digital, Campaigns, and Marketing Operations support priority accounts. Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and executive-ready business cases for leadership. Surface risks and dependencies early, driving cross-functional alignment on actions to improve ABX performance. Key requirements 5+ years in B2B SaaS account-based marketing with hands-on ABX/ABM experience Experience developing ABX strategies across products, segments, and sales motions with prioritized audiences Proficiency using firmographics, intent, engagement, buying-stage, and CRM data to identify priority accounts and guide engagement Strong understanding of account and buying-group engagement across the B2B SaaS journey (progression, opportunities, pipeline, revenue)Ability to orchestrate cross-functional ABX motions across Marketing, Sales, XDR/SDR, Product Marketing, Data, Digital, Campaigns, and Analytics Strong business ownership: problem structuring, dependency mapping, actioning, and cross-functional progress through influence Analytical skills to monitor funnel performance, diagnose gaps, and translate data into clear actions Experience defining success metrics for ABX and measuring engagement, progression, pipeline, and revenue Ability to build data-backed business cases for changes to audience strategy, programs, processes, technology, or ways of working Strong communication and stakeholder management to lead cross-functional discussions and drive decisions Ability to operate in a complex, fast-moving environment with multiple products and prioritiesstrong communicationstakeholder managementcross-functional collaborationABX/ABM strategy and executionaccount-based data analysis and analyticsCRM and buying-group data usage
