Overview Title: NPS AFA Assistant - FMSS Data Clerk
Location: Grand Portage National Monument

Supervisor: Facility Manager/AFA Program Administrator
Responsibilities: Provide administrative and budgetary support to the Facility Manager/AFA Program Administrator. Be knowledgeable in the use of various forms of office equipment, computers, copiers, scanners, etc. Enter and collect data into a variety of software systems; accuracy is important. Entry level position. Training will be provided by supervisor.
Education Education: High school diploma or equivalent; at least one-year related experience required. Must maintain/improve skill level through training opportunities related to the position.

About AFA The Annual Funding Agreement (AFA) is an agreement between the National Park Service (NPS) and the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. The purpose of the AFA is to establish the terms and conditions under which the NPS will fund, and the Band will perform programs, services, functions, and activities, or portions thereof (Activities), at or for the Grand Portage National Monument (GRPO) and Isle Royale National Park (ISRO), park areas under the jurisdiction of the NPS within and near the exterior borders of the Grand Portage Reservation. Grand Portage requires a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing for all positions. American Indian Preference will apply.
