About the role

About the Company: Clin Lab Solutions Group is partnering with a clinical-stage medical device company on an exciting opportunity to join a high-functioning Data Science team at the forefront of cardiac electrophysiology. This company is developing a novel, high-resolution, real-time 3D electroanatomical mapping system designed to guide ablation therapy for atrial fibrillation — technology with the potential to meaningfully disrupt how AF is diagnosed and treated.
About the Role: We are recruiting for multiple levels of this role — Clinical EP Mapping Specialist I, II, and Senior — and will match the right candidate to the level that reflects their experience.
Responsibilities: Working directly in EP labs alongside leading electrophysiologists. Support clinical and preclinical data acquisition. Operate and troubleshoot the mapping system during procedures. Interpret electrogram data. Train EP lab staff and clinicians. Contribute to regulatory submissions and publications. Senior-level candidates will also lead training of other mapping specialists. Drive independent data analysis using Python. Contribute directly to system development requirements and design feedback loops.
Qualifications: A background in biomedical engineering, cardiac science, or a related field (BS/BA minimum; MS or PhD strongly preferred at senior level).Hands-on experience in the EP lab — familiarity with RF generators, EP recording systems, pacing and diagnostic catheters, and electrogram interpretation. Direct experience with commercially available high-resolution mapping systems (2+ years at entry level; 3+ years at mid-level; 5+ years at senior level).EP procedure support experience across anatomical, signal-based, and map-guided ablation workflows (volume expectations scale by level).PFA experience preferred across all levels. Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a clinical environment alongside physicians and lab staff. Python fluency is a plus at the senior level.
Required Skills: A background in biomedical engineering, cardiac science, or a related field. Hands-on experience in the EP lab. Direct experience with commercially available high-resolution mapping systems. EP procedure support experience. Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills: PFA experience. Python fluency at the senior level. Travel Travel is a core part of the role (up to 50% for Specialist I and II; extensive for Senior). What Makes This Opportunity Different This is a rare chance to join a small, mission-driven team building technology at the frontier of cardiac EP — not deploying an established platform, but shaping one. You'll work directly with KOL physicians, contribute to device development, and grow your career across clinical, scientific, and R&D dimensions simultaneously.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
