About the role
- Lead new product development activities from concept through production transfer
- Develop product designs, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation
- Coordinate design verification and validation testing, including external laboratory testing
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the product development process
- Support product risk assessments, design reviews, and regulatory compliance activities
- Develop and maintain Bills of Materials, work instructions, and engineering documentation
- Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing support equipment
- Investigate product, material, and supplier issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform product cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Manage engineering change documentation and support continuous improvement efforts
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field1–3 years of product development or engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of product validation, design controls, and engineering documentation
- Experience with FDA-regulated or ISO-certified manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
