Remote Full-Stack Software Developer - BELAY

Job purpose: As a Full-Stack Software Developer you will be responsible for building a multi-tenant practice management platform used by several accounting firms under a single corporate umbrella. The application manages client engagements, tracks deliverables, measures employee utilization, handles task management, and will expand into time tracking and additional operational features. We need a developer who takes full ownership — from database schema to deployed feature — and treats quality as their personal responsibility.

Duties and responsibilities: As a BELAY Corporate Team member, you will professionally represent the company in all virtual and in-person interactions. You are expected to exemplify our mission, vision and core values daily, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.

Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and ship features end-to-end across a Laravel API backend and React TypeScript frontend backed by PostgreSQLOwn quality: write testable code, perform your own QA, and catch issues before users doCollaborate closely with a small, senior team to plan architecture and make pragmatic technical decisions Respond quickly to production issues and bugs — downtime directly impacts our firms' ability to serve clients Participate in data modeling for complex accounting workflows including engagement tracking, utilization metrics, and multi-firm tenancy Write and maintain API documentation; keep the codebase clean and well-organized for current and future team members Deploy and maintain infrastructure on DigitalOcean using Docker and CI/CD pipelines
