Expected pay for this position is $31.49 - $37.05/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. The Medical Social Worker is responsible for identifying socioeconomic and emotional factors that exist which are, or can be, an impediment to the effective treatment of the patient's medical condition or rate of recovery. This individual demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of the patient population served.
Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Social Work Current state license to practiceCPR certification prior to start (American Heart Association certification)Valid driver's license Working knowledge of human behavior/development and theories of social work process Proficient with electronic documentation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications: LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker 1 year as Social Worker in home health care experienceOSF Health Care is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
