Chief Financial Officer: Hybrid position - Local to Indianapolis area preferred$300-350k plus 30-50% bonus and future equity Bell & Associates is partnering with a growing privately-held healthcare organization seeking a CFO to join their Executive Leadership team.
Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable, and revenue cycle. Develop and execute financial strategies that support the organization’s operational and long-term objectives. Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes. Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership and ownership. Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes. Oversee revenue cycle performance, including billing, collections, reimbursement, and accounts receivable. Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, including hiring and building out key positions as needed. Partner with operational leadership to improve financial performance, cost management, and business processes. Provide financial modeling and analysis to support capital investments, strategic initiatives, and business decisions. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and financial policies. Serve as a key financial partner to ownership and the executive leadership team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Significant accounting and finance leadership experience, preferably in a multi-location healthcare environment.
  • Healthcare experience required, with demonstrated experience overseeing revenue cycle operations.
  • Medicare, Medicaid, Hospice, or Nursing Home exp preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and build high-performing teams.
  • Experience implementing and improving accounting processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with ownership, senior leadership, and operational teams.
  • Hands-on, results-oriented leader who can balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day operational execution.
