About the Role:
We are looking for an energetic and hands-on Scheduler to support material movement and production activities on the manufacturing floor. This is an entry-level/lower-level scheduling role, focused on coordinating materials and updating production systems—not a planner, buyer, or management position.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and track the movement of materials and parts on the manufacturing floor.
Update production and inventory systems accurately and on time.
Stage materials and coordinate work to meet production schedules.
Monitor work orders, shortages, and material status.
Coordinate with production, inspection, planning, and other support teams.
Help resolve scheduling, paperwork, and system discrepancies.
Track materials through different manufacturing areas and report issues.
Support expedited/A.O.G. jobs and customer delivery requirements.
Move materials using forklifts, dollies, hand trucks, and carts.
Support packaging and ensure materials are handled safely.
Follow all company safety procedures and assist team members as needed.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in dispatching, shop scheduling, production planning, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience working with computerized manufacturing/production systems.
Understanding of manufacturing processes, work orders, routings, travelers, and blueprints.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
