About the role
Seeking a dedicated Full-Time Online English Faculty member, the position will teach foundational composition, literature, and writing courses in an asynchronous online environment, utilizing innovative teaching methods and mentoring adult learners while integrating a Christian worldview.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach general education English and composition courses delivered asynchronously through Canvas LMS
Design, evaluate, and refine online writing and literature coursework using contemporary educational pedagogy
Provide timely feedback on student writing, maintain an active virtual presence, and foster student retention and successRequired QualificationsMaster's degree specifically in English is required; a terminal degree is preferred
Demonstrated background or formal training in education and educational pedagogy
Proven teaching experience in both traditional and online higher education environments
Demonstrated proficiency with the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
Must be a professing Christian with active participation in a local church and community
