JOB DESCRIPTION:
Key Responsibilities Welding; minor and major body repairs Removing decals from Trailers Repair or removing insulations from Trailers Working with metal panels by straightening and completing bondo work as needed Realigning structural components Communicating with management about additional damage beyond original repair orders Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Complying with all company, OHSA and EPA rules and guidelines All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications Time Management skills Self-motivated Safety first mindset Resilient work ethic and a commitment to extra hours when needed Strong Communication Skills. A pre-employment physical and drug screening is required Preferred Qualifications Basic welding skills Basic painting experience SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Welding Painting Bondo Insulation Repair Insulation Removal Trailer Body Repair Decal Removal PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Maneuvering around, in, on, and under trailers/tight spaces Standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling with a full range of body movements Using hands to handle, control or feel Climbing ladders, stairs, and platforms Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds Work Experience: 2+ years of experience In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws, qualified candidates are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, non-job-related disability, or any other protected group status.
