About the role
Our client, a prestigious national law firm located in downtown Denver, is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic team of attorneys in their complex commercial and class action litigation groups. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in large-scale litigation at the State and Federal Level. This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
Proofreads, prepares, and processes legal documents including, briefs, pleadings, correspondence.
Prepares documents for e-filing and files documents with appropriate courts.
Update and maintaining client files.
Make travel arrangements, answer telephone, read and route incoming mail, schedule appointments, and manage attorneys’ calendars, maintain filing and process new business intake and expense forms.
Enter, review, and edit attorneys' time entries in time entry system.
Manage client onboarding, billing, and relationship management activities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary preferrable in a large or midsized law firm.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes and court rules in a Litigation Department
- Strong computer proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Document Management Systems, Time Entry, e-filing and database software
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management
