About the role
Overview
In this role you will lead data‑driven, multi-channel marketing strategies for PIMCO’s U.S. Global Wealth Management client base. You’ll own segmentation, activate targeted campaigns, and deliver integrated programs that strengthen engagement and drive growth. You will coordinate with Digital, Events, Content, Creative, and Analytics teams to align marketing with sales priorities, while refining audience strategies. The role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to expand client relationships and impact firm growth.

Responsibilities Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies aligned with growth objectives Design multi-year plans for key client segments and distribution priorities Own client segmentation and audience strategy using insights to inform targeting and personalization Lead development and activation of programs that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion Partner with sales leadership to translate business needs into actionable marketing plans Coordinate with Digital, Events, Content, Creative, Analytics, and partners to deliver cohesive client experiences Localize campaigns for regional relevance and effectiveness Utilize data, analytics, and marketing technology to measure performance and optimize strategies, including automation Maintain a test‑and‑learn approach and refine strategies based on performance and market insights Drive adoption of innovative tools and ways of working to enhance marketing impact Manage a dynamic portfolio of initiatives in response to evolving business needs Support sales by providing relevant marketing resources and ensuring regulatory compliance with Compliance
Key requirements 8+ years of experience in asset management or financial services marketing Strong knowledge of intermediary, institutional, and/or advisor client segments Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies across digital, content, events, paid media, and sales enablement Successful track record partnering with sales to drive commercial outcomes Experience leveraging data, marketing technology, and automation to improve effectiveness Interest in applying AI and innovative tools to campaigns and scalability Deep understanding of client investment needs and decision‑making processes Knowledge of investment products (Models, Alternatives, Municipals, SMAs, ETFs) preferred Strong digital marketing, campaign management, and performance measurement skills Familiarity with marketing and project management platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Seismic)Agile marketing experience desirable Collaborative mindset and stakeholder management Strategic thinking and problem solving Strong communication and storytelling abilities Data-driven marketing Automation and marketing technologyAI for campaign optimization
