Customer Service Operator The Customer Service Operator will provide exceptional telephone service to inbound calling customers. The Customer Service Operator will respond to customer requests and inquiries, make recommendations about bank products and services. To succeed as a Customer Service Operator, you should have a professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude. You should be courteous, efficient, helpful, and accurate.
Customer Service Operator Responsibilities:
  • Directing inbound calls to appropriate party
  • Assisting customers with processing transactions, such as payments and transfers, resolving complaints or account discrepancies, and answering questions.
  • Informing customers about bank products and services.
  • Processing returned mail for customer contact
  • Keeping a clean, organized work area and a professional appearance.
  • Handling transactions and confidential information in a responsible manner.
  • Following all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.
  • Any other duties as assigned
Customer Service Operator Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Exceptional time management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Professional appearance and courteous manner.
  • Working Conditions/Physical Demands
  • Position operates in a professional office environment
  • Routine use of standard office equipment, i.e. computers, phones, photocopiers, calculators, and filing cabinets
  • Must be able to remain sedentary 75% of the time
  • Employee will occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
