About the role

Student Success Support Liaison The Student Success Support Liaison provides administrative, outreach, enrollment, and student success support services for Dual Enrollment and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. Under the supervision of the Dual Enrollment & CTE Coordinator or designated administrator, the Liaison serves as a liaison among students, families, school staff, community college partners, and credentialed counseling personnel to support student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and successful program completion. This position performs operational and student support functions and does not provide academic counseling, educational planning, mental health counseling, or other services requiring a credential or professional license. This position provides operational, outreach, enrollment, and student support services for Dual Enrollment and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs. Responsibilities are administrative and supportive in nature and are intended to enhance student access, engagement, and persistence. The position does not provide academic counseling, transcript evaluation, educational planning, mental health services, or any other service requiring a credential, certification, or professional license. This position is established through grant funding and is intended to support specific programmatic objectives. As such, the position may be modified, reduced, or discontinued based on funding availability and program needs. All individuals appointed to this position, whether external hires or current employees transitioning into the role, will be placed at Step 1 of the salary schedule.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in education, communications, business administration, student services, social sciences, or a related field preferred. Two (2) years of experience in student services, educational support programs, youth development, workforce development, community outreach, recruitment, customer service, or a related field. Experience supporting Dual Enrollment, CCAP, Early College, College and Career Readiness, Career Technical Education (CTE), or similar postsecondary transition programs preferred. Knowledge of California community college admissions, enrollment, registration, and student support processes. Experience planning and facilitating workshops, presentations, trainings, or outreach activities for students, families, and community stakeholders. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, educational partners, and community organizations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, databases, student information systems, and educational technology platforms. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
