Job Description: Injection Molding Process Technician 1st & 3rd Shift Opportunities Available Fitchburg, MA$27.00 - $36.00 per Hour + Overtime Opportunities Available + 5k Sign On Bonus Available Shifts 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:00 PM $27.00 - $34.00 per Hour 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm - 11:00 PM $27.00 - $35.00 per Hour 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM $27.00 - $36.00 per Hour Join Our Manufacturing Team Micron Solutions is looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join our team in Fitchburg, MA.In this hands-on role, you'll set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines, perform mold changes, monitor processes, and keep production running safely and efficiently. You'll also have the opportunity to work with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment. If you have hands-on injection molding experience and enjoy troubleshooting equipment and solving process problems, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do: Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines Perform mold and job changeovers Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment Respond to machine alarms and processing issues Make process adjustments within established parameters Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues Complete required production and process documentation Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For
Required: High school diploma or GEDHands-on injection molding processing experience Experience setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines Experience performing mold changes and machine setups Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and respond to production issues Preferred, but not required:3+ years of injection molding experience Experience with robotics, automation, or auxiliary equipment Experience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing Scientific molding or process troubleshooting experienceRJG/Master Molder or other plastics processing training Experience with IQMS/DELMIAWorks or another manufacturing ERP system Don't meet every preferred qualification?
