Our client is an established law firm with a growing Trusts & Estates practice and is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to support attorneys across estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys meaningful client interaction, varied responsibilities, and taking ownership of their work.
Responsibilities: Support attorneys with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters Prepare and assist with wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents Coordinate probate administration, including court filings, inventories, accountings, and required notices Assist with trust funding, asset transfers, distributions, and related documentation Prepare and file court documents while ensuring compliance with applicable procedures and deadlines Conduct legal research and assist with estate and trust-related projects Communicate with clients, financial institutions, courts, and other professionals to gather information and move matters forward Maintain organized and accurate client files and track critical deadlines Provide general case management and administrative support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications: 3-5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in trusts, estates, probate, or a related practice Solid understanding of estate planning and probate administration processes Familiarity with New Hampshire probate procedures strongly preferred Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written, verbal, and client communication skills Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology/case management systems Paralegal certificate or related degree preferred, but not required Experience with estate-related tax filings is a plus
