About the role
Providing technical support for cold side foodservice equipment, the full-time Inside Service Technician will communicate with end users and field technicians over the phone and email to assist in repairs, while also maintaining customer call information and collaborating with manufacturers.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively troubleshooting equipment issues and providing solutions
Manage over 30 technical support cases daily, utilizing manuals and diagrams to diagnose problems
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the company databaseRequired qualificationsExperience in electric/gas appliance repair, refrigeration, or HVAC, or relevant training/schooling
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills
Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work
Competence in using computers and navigating programs such as MS Word and Outlook
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
