CSP is partnering with a highly respected commercial real estate and general contractor, headquartered in Ellicott City, Maryland, specializing in multifamily projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. For more than two decades, the company has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, collaborative client relationships, and delivering high-quality construction projects that consistently exceed expectations. The Senior Construction Project Manager will serve as a key leader within the organization, responsible for managing complex multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Acting as both a project leader and owner's representative, this individual will oversee project budgets, schedules, subcontractor relationships, client communications, and overall project execution.
Responsibilities:
Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through owner turnover.
Lead all aspects of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and financial performance.
Oversee subcontractor buyouts, contract negotiations, procurement, and scope management.
Coordinate architects, consultants, field teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution.
Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with owners and key stakeholders.
Review RFIs, change orders, construction documents, and value engineering opportunities.
Monitor project quality, safety, schedule, and budget while proactively resolving project challenges.
Manage project closeout, punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation.
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction project management experience with a General Contractor.
Ground-up multifamily construction experience strongly preferred.
Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, buyouts, contract administration, and change order management.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
Field experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, or similar role is a plus.
