Lead SAP Basis Consultant (MES Basis resource) US Citizens only Position: Lead SAP Basis Consultant (MES Basis resource) Location: Remote, USA Client: IPS/L3 Harris USC and GC Only Job Description: As a SAP Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology. This position may require travel to Project / client locations. This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only.Preferred QualificationsAt least 7 years of experience in detailed patching and system parameter configuration of servers and landscape. At least 4 years of experience in doing archiving and security patching. SAP ERP on HANA, SAP SLT, Content Server on MaxDB, SAP AII & SAP cFolder on Oracle, SAP Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway. Experience in problem management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills. At least 4 years of experience in knowledge with SAP ECC, BW, GRC, Solution Manager both ABAP and Netweaver Java Stack systems with SQL, Max DB Databases.At least 4 years of experience in performance matrix and troubleshooting requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting. Analytical and communication skills. Planning and coordination skills. Knowledge of Solution Manager alert setup (technical monitoring and configurations) customization. Knowledge of other functionality within Solution Manager is beneficial but not required. Manage freeze periods, emergency changes, retrofit activities and decommissioning of systems during the upgrades and migrations.Knowledge of release management concepts and processes. Knowledge of transport management concepts and processes.
