Job Description: Job Description John Bouchard & Sons Co. is seeking an experienced Plumber Service Technician to support commercial facilities, industrial sites, institutional facilities, and municipal systems. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role performs emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and system troubleshooting while traveling locally between customer sites each day.
Responsibilities: Diagnose plumbing service issues and troubleshoot system performance. Perform emergency repairs and general plumbing repairs. Service and maintain piping systems, including PEX piping. Service ProPress piping systems. Operate multiple types of drain-cleaning and plumbing equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and related materials. Perform preventive maintenance on commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal plumbing systems. Complete work in compliance with applicable plumbing codes.
Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in plumbing service. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with commercial, industrial, and municipal plumbing systems. Familiarity with institutional plumbing systems. Experience operating drain-cleaning equipment. Proficiency with ProPress piping systems and PEX piping. Blueprint-reading and plumbing diagnostics experience. Strong problem-solving skills.
