What You'll Do:
- Greet members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent, professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol and logging activity.
- Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program.
- Abide by all HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records.
- Ensure the headquarters lobby is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Manage schedules accurately for new appointments, check ins, and follow ups.
- Verify insurance, personal information and account balances. Collects fees when required.
- Ensure that new charts are ready for use and packets are prepared for programs.
- Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.).Requirements of the Position:
- Availability to work a full-time schedule (4) -10/Hour Shifts - 7:00am to 6:00pm or 2:00pm to 11:00pmHigh school diploma or GEDOne to Two years of progressively responsible experience.
- Previous experience handling large volume of incoming calls as a receptionist preferred.
- Must possess strong customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.
