About the role

Production Manager – Battery Manufacturing Based onsite in Phoenix, Arizona Take the wheel on a manufacturing operation that powers mission-critical industries. You'll own day-to-day production for a battery manufacturing facility, driving safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery — and building a team and process that performs under pressure. What You'll Own Plan, schedule, and drive production to hit customer orders, lead times, and inventory targets — no excuses, no missed dates Lead, coach, and grow a production team: staffing, shift coverage, performance, and accountability Own the safety and compliance culture — enforce environmental and regulatory standards and rock-solid SOPsRun end-to-end logistics: inbound receiving and inspection through outbound shipping, documentation, and systems Live in the data — throughput, yield, downtime, OEE, scrap, labor efficiency — and turn insight into action Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to cut waste and boost output Keep equipment running — prioritize preventive maintenance, manage breakdowns, minimize downtime Be the connective tissue across Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Finance, and Sales Keep production data and inventory airtight in SAPChampion a culture where safety and quality never stop improving What You Bring 5+ years of hands-on labour/manufacturing production experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role Lean/continuous improvement experience is a strong plus Comfort with production planning and MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred)Strong leadership, sharp problem-solving, and a data-first mindset The Environment Hands-on, on-site leadership — you'll be on the floor, not just in meetingsPPE required around hazardous materials (battery acid, lead)Some shift flexibility and overtime as production demands
