About the role

We're looking for a Software Engineer III to help build the next generation of Al-powered developer tools and automation platforms. You'll be part of an agile team designing, building, and delivering scalable software products end-to-end - writing production-quality code that applies modern software architecture and Al/agentic frameworks to real engineering problems.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services (APIs, backend systems, internal tools) that power automation platforms used across the firm
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following best practices (code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, version control)
  • Design and build Al-powered automation agents as software products, integrating LLMs and agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAl, or similar) into engineering workflows
  • Build internal developer tools, libraries, and self-service platforms that improve developer productivity while meeting security and compliance requirements
  • Integrate ML-driven anomaly detection and telemetry into applications, working with observability platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana)
  • Support production systems you help build, including root-cause analysis and on-call rotations
  • Analyze usage/performance data to inform engineering decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills. Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years applied experience in software development. Strong proficiency in Python (or similar language) with experience designing and shipping production software. Experience with software engineering practices: version control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD. Experience building/consuming APIs and services; solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design. Experience with logging, monitoring, and observability integration. Solid understanding of agile methodologies and secure coding principles Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills. Experience with Al/ML or agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAl) and LLM APIs (OpenAl, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic). Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket). Experience building automation bots, developer tools, or internal platforms. Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with vector databases and RAG architectures. Experience working in highly regulated industries
