About the role
Engage on specific deals as a senior operator with platform experience across ag inputs, ag services, or agribusiness.
Work on a per-engagement basis, typically three to twelve months per deal.
What You Will Do:
Provide market intelligence on bolt-on targets, competitive landscape, and valuation context.
Review confidential information memoranda and management presentations for sector-specific fit and risk.
Participate in PE sponsor pitches and provide operational due diligence input.
What We Are Looking For:
Senior operator (VP, President, GM, COO, CEO) with 15+ years in ag operations.
Existing network of relationships with founders, family owners, and PE professionals.
Comfort representing Fireclay professionally and handling non-public information.
Compensation and Logistics:
1099 independent contractor with per-deal success fees.
Optional retainer for active sourcing; equity participation on select engagements.
Remote, US or Canada based, with minimal travel.
Fireclay Partners is a veteran-owned middle market M&A and buy-side advisory firm based in Kansas City, serving private equity sponsors and family-owned businesses.
