POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for leading enterprise-wide strategies that enhance organizational performance, leadership capability, workforce effectiveness, employee engagement, change adoption, and talent optimization, with a direct focus on strengthening restaurant operations and store-level leadership. This role partners with executive leadership to align organizational design, talent practices, leadership development, succession planning, and change management initiatives with business objectives. The Director serves as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, using workforce analytics, organizational diagnostics, and industry best practices to improve organizational health, effectiveness, agility, and long-term business performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: May perform any or all of the following duties: Lead the organization's Organizational Effectiveness strategy, aligning workforce capabilities with business priorities and long-term growth objectives. Partner with executive leadership to assess organizational design, structures, spans of control, and workforce planning needs. Direct enterprise talent review, succession planning, and leadership pipeline initiatives. Develop and implement frameworks that improve performance management effectiveness and talent outcomes. Lead change management efforts associated with organizational transformations, restructures, technology implementations, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives. Establish organizational effectiveness metrics and dashboards to measure workforce productivity, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, retention, and organizational health. Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify organizational risks and opportunities. Design and facilitate leadership development programs focused on capability building, culture, and business leadership competencies. Partner with restaurant operations leaders to define and strengthen leadership competencies that enable store-level performance, accountability, team development, and operational excellence. Develop scalable talent and succession strategies that build a strong restaurant leadership bench and support advancement across key restaurant management roles. Conduct organizational assessments and recommend improvements to work processes, decision-making structures, communication flow, and accountability models. Utilize workforce analytics and employee feedback data to identify trends and inform organizational decisions. Lead employee engagement action-planning efforts across the organization. Ensure alignment between organizational strategy, talent management, compensation philosophy, and workforce planning initiatives. Serve as executive consultant on organization development, culture transformation, and leadership effectiveness. Build change readiness and adoption capabilities throughout the organization. Lead, develop, and mentor Organizational Effectiveness and/or Talent Management team members. Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIESBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field required.10+ years of progressive HR, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Effectiveness experience.5+ years leading enterprise-level programs and teams. Experience supporting senior executives and leading large-scale organizational changes.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Corporate office environment that operates in a fast-paced setting with a high volume of activity and a deadline-driven culture. This role follows a hybrid work model.
