About the role
Anthropic is seeking Staff+ backend engineers to lead platform acceleration efforts for Claude API, SDKs, and internal tools. Preference for candidates in San Francisco, with Seattle as an option. You will own strategy and drive the most challenging backend problems, while staying hands-on and collaborating with cross‐functional teams. The role requires deep experience with large-scale services, modern languages (Go, Python, Rust, TS), and strong rollout of CI/CD capabilities.
