This individual will manage the complete sales process for AI-enabled robotics solutions sold to school districts, universities, community colleges, and other educational institutions.What You'll Do: Develop new business throughout California's K–12 and higher-education markets. Build relationships with school districts, universities, community colleges, technical programs, and other education organizations. Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposals, negotiations, and closing. Create customized solutions that may include robotics hardware, implementation, training, curriculum, and ongoing support. Navigate RFPs, competitive bids, cooperative purchasing agreements, grants, annual budget cycles, and board-approval processes. Identify funding pathways and align proposed solutions with customer budgets, timelines, and educational objectives. Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain accurate activity, forecast, and account information in the CRM. Establish high-visibility customer partnerships that can serve as successful reference accounts. Manage pricing, revenue, unit-sales, and gross-margin goals while maintaining commercial discipline. Partner with pre-sales engineers to coordinate product demonstrations, pilot programs, technical evaluations, deployments, and customer training. Travel regularly throughout the assigned California territory.What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline. At least 5 years of B2B or B2G sales experience within education technology, STEM solutions, classroom technology, instructional technology, or a related market. Demonstrated success selling to school districts, colleges, universities, or other education institutions. Working knowledge of education procurement, RFP and bid processes, cooperative purchasing, grant-funded initiatives, annual budget cycles, and board approvals. Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, account-management, and relationship-building skills. Experience managing pipelines and forecasts through CRM tools. Experience selling educational robotics, AI solutions, maker-space technology, STEM curriculum, instructional hardware, or related classroom products. Familiarity with California education procurement portals, grant programs, and purchasing cooperatives.Employment Details: Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Location: California; office-based with regional travel Assignment: Initial contract period with potential conversion to permanent employment Travel: Regular travel to customer sites, demonstrations, conferences, and education eventsInterested in hearing more?
