Job Description: Amergis Staffing is hiring a Braille Para for an elementary classroom in Soledad.
Location: Soledad, CA
Age group: Elementary (working 1:1 with a student) 8-2:30 pm schedule ASAP start, guaranteed for school year Must be proficient in Braille Must be comfortable possibly assisting with toileting/diapering $25/hr

Job Requirements: The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
