About the role
SOMC Breast Center is seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join their dedicated team in Portsmouth. This role features a flexible schedule with no call, weekends, or nights, operating Monday through Thursday from 8a to 5p and Friday from 8a to 12p. The incoming provider will manage an average patient load of 40-50 patients per day and participate in Tumor Board meetings.

Breast center is open M-TH 8a-5p and Fri 8a-12p
Staffing includes 1 Fellowship trained Breast Imaging Radiologist, Breast Center Manager, Breast Navigators, Mammo Techs, US staff, and ancillary support staff
Average 40-50 patients/day
Office procedures include stereo biopsies, US biopsies, Molli localization, and MRI biopsies (1-4 procedures/day on average)
Modalities are completely digital with ACR (American College of Radiology) accreditation and NAPBC (National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers) through American College of Surgeons
Equipment includes Hologic mammo/stereo, Secureview, Ikonopedia, Dynacard, Brevera stereo biopsy system, GE US, and MQ PACS
