About the role

Hoo Haven is in need of 15 volunteers. These volunteers are for Monday thru Friday You would need to plan on giving 4-5 hours a week starting at 9AM. Come with a warm heart, a giving spirit, a willingness to really want to volunteer and we will teach you the rest. If you have a willingness to give back, to help Mother Earth be a better place for all and want warm fuzzies we are the place. Please call 815-629-2212 and leave a phone number where I can reach you at around 6pm. -- After all animals and chores come first. Thank you!!! Karen and Steven Herdklotz

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
