Job Opportunity at Austin Print Co. Austin Print Co. is a custom apparel, embroidery, trophy, and promotional products company based in the Austin area. DTF printing and embroidery are done in house, and we run a retail showroom in downtown Austin. Every order that leaves our shop starts with a customer conversation, and this role is where that conversation happens.
About the Role: You will manage Austin Print Co. customers and orders from the first inquiry through the handoff to production. Your job is to make sure every customer gets timely communication and every order has complete, accurate information before it enters production. You own the customer facing and administrative side of the order. This is a full time, in person position based at our downtown Austin showroom, Monday through Friday. Every order moves through this path, and you are responsible for keeping it moving: Inquiry ? Quote ? Payment ? Product Ordering ? Artwork / Proof Approval ? Complete Order Information ? Production ReadyWhat You Will DoCustomer communication and sales Respond to customer emails, phone calls, website inquiries, and walk in customers. Help customers choose products, decoration options, quantities, and timelines. Prepare and send quotes and invoices. Follow up on open quotes, inquiries, artwork, proofs, payments, and approvals. Keep communication professional and consistent through the entire order process. Order management Create and maintain customer orders in APC Admin, our internal order system. Keep order details, customer changes, statuses, deadlines, and next actions current. Gather every required order detail: products, colors, sizes, quantities, artwork, placement, decoration method, and due date. Coordinate artwork and proof requests with the design team, send proofs, and get customer approval before production. Confirm payment and all required approvals are received before an order goes to production. Spot missing information or stalled orders and take action to move them forward. Purchasing and production handoff Source and order apparel, blanks, and other products for confirmed orders. Verify styles, colors, sizes, and quantities before purchasing. Review each order for completeness before handing it to production. Communicate customer changes and key order information to design and production. Escalate customer issues, unusual requests, rush orders, and production concerns to management when needed.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience in customer service, inside sales, or order coordination.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication. You are comfortable on the phone and over email all day.
  • Organized and detail oriented. You catch missing sizes, wrong colors, and unapproved proofs before they reach production.
  • Able to manage many open orders at once and keep each one moving without being reminded.
  • Comfortable working in quoting and order management software.
  • Experience with Printavo or a similar print shop management platform is a plus.
  • Background in custom apparel, embroidery, promotional products, or print is a plus.
