About the role

Valet Attendant The Valet Parking Unit provides a convenient, accessible, and stress-free parking experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This service aims to enhance customer satisfaction by reducing the time and effort needed to find parking, especially for those with mobility challenges or urgent healthcare needs. Provides professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services for patients, visitors, and guests while meeting the standards outlined by Baptist Health Lexington. Proactively approach, greet, and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service while returning or parking their cars.
Job responsibilities include: Greets customers with a cheerful, positive, and helpful can-do attitude. Aids customer's arriving or departing with directions to all locations of the facility, provides wheelchair assistance, and makes the experience one of comfort. Parks and retrieves vehicles in a safe manner. Drives vehicle safely and locks unattended vehicle after parked. Obeys all posted speed limit signs, observes pedestrian right-of-way when crossing roadway or crosswalks and does not squeal tires of customer's vehicles. Adhere to Safety Standards: Strictly no cell phone use or reckless driving while performing job duties.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or any equivalent
  • Good communication and customer services skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record (No serious violations such as excessive speeding, DUI)
Ability to run, be on feet for long periods of time, and being outdoors in all types of weather.
