Remote | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Equity Base: $55K–$60K OTE: $90K–$110KOur client is a growing market intelligence and data technology company serving the cannabis industry. Their platform helps cannabis brands, distributors, retailers, and multi-state operators better understand what is selling across the market, including product pricing, inventory, retail performance, competitive movement, and emerging opportunities. They are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their growing sales team and take ownership of the top of the sales funnel. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, and finding creative ways to get the attention of busy decision-makers. You won't be starting from scratch. The team has an established outbound sales process, defined target segments, and proven messaging. At the same time, the company is actively testing and refining its approach as the cannabis market evolves, giving the SDR an opportunity to have a direct impact on how the sales team generates new business.
What You'll Do: Identify and qualify new business opportunities across cannabis brands, distributors, retailers, and multi-state operators Build targeted prospect lists using market and industry data to identify companies with a strong potential fit Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns through email, phone, and Linked InPersonalize outreach based on a prospect's business, market position, products, or growth opportunities Qualify prospects based on business needs, fit, timing, and potential opportunity Schedule qualified meetings and provide AEs with the context they need to have productive first conversations Maintain accurate activity, notes, stages, and next steps within Hub Spot Track outreach performance and identify opportunities to improve response and conversion rates Test and refine messaging, sequences, and prospecting strategies based on performance Partner with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product teams to share market and prospect feedback How Success Will Be Measured Qualified meetings booked and held against monthly targets Conversion of meetings into qualified opportunities Pipeline generated through outbound efforts Consistency and quality of prospecting activity Accurate and reliable CRM data
What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree required 1-3 years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar prospecting role within B2B SaaSTrack record of meeting or exceeding sales development quotas Strong written communication skills and the ability to create compelling cold outreach Comfortable making outbound calls and persistent enough to stay productive when responses are limited Analytical mindset with the ability to identify who to target and why Self-directed and comfortable managing your own priorities in a remote environment Hands-on CRM experience, ideally with Hub Spot
