Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager stationed in the United States. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and expand market presence for surimi-based seafood products in United States and Canada. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals, and negotiating commercial terms with prospective and existing clients. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams on product positioning, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans, as well as tracking performance metrics and reporting on business development activities. The Business Development Manager will represent Thong Siek Global in virtual meetings and industry events, helping to strengthen brand visibility and customer relationships.
Qualifications:
Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and account management. Strategic and analytical skills, such as market research, competitive analysis, and business planning. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives, deadlines, and priorities. Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries is an advantage. Comfort working remotely with cross-functional and multicultural teams. Familiar with the US/ Canada F&B Industry, especially in Asian Food Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., CRM tools, spreadsheets, presentation software).Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
