About the role
Machine Operator We are searching for experienced machine operators in our fresh-cut produce facility. The machine operator is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of our production machinery.
Responsibilities:
Operate processing equipment: Translicer & Dicers Maintain the machine to ensure it continues to work properly. Make sure the quality of the finished product meets our standards. Work well independently but also as part of the team, willing to help out wherever is needed. Responsible for setting up, running, maintaining, and basic troubleshooting processing equipment Perform proper changeover procedures Adhere to food safety regulations & GMPsAdhere to company Policies, SOP's & SSOP'sRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus Ability to stand 8-10 hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to operate a variety of equipment in a safe and effective manner Mechanical mindset with ability to think outside the box Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and other departments Ability to work effectively in the absence of close supervision Ability to multi-task Ability to work in a fast paced, cold temperature environment Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedures Ability to maintain regular attendance Ability to work overtime, as warranted by business needs Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
