About the role

Our client is an international law firm. They seek a Legal Assistant to join their Washington, DC office.
Responsibilities:
  • Review attorney time entries to ensure compliance with billing standards and outside counsel guidelines
  • Prepare client invoices by editing, posting, and managing billing inventory in collaboration with assigned attorneys
  • Coordinate expense reimbursements, calendaring, travel arrangements, and document management based on attorney preferences
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client, financial, and proprietary information in accordance with firm policies
  • Collaborate with global teams through a centralized workflow and ticketing system to ensure timely service delivery
  • Safeguard sensitive legal, financial, and confidential records while supporting daily administrative and billing operations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to evolving technology platforms
