Job Description:
The Costume Workroom Supervisor leads a medium-sized team overseeing the construction and maintenance of costumes, specializing in sport team mascot construction, theater, and event productions. This role requires excellent sewing skills, workroom management experience, and knowledge of mascot performance to ensure high-quality costume production and functionality without the need for travel.
Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of 6-15 costume workroom staff
Manage costume construction processes for sports mascots, theater, and events
Ensure quality sewing and construction standards are met
Coordinate workroom operations and workflow
Apply knowledge of mascot performance to optimize costume functionality
Utilize Adobe Illustrator for costume design and production support Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in costume design and production
