QA Engineer, Manual and AutomationLong Term Contract (12+ months) Must be in the EST or CST time zone and able to work EST hoursRemoteOur client is seeking to add a QA Consultant with strong java expertise to their team to complete major project initiatives. They are undergoing a major technology modernization initiative that will last several years! Recent experience with RFT is a plus.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Engineering with significant experience in test automation framework design, maintenance, and utilizationProficiency in JavaExperience with PlaywrightExperience testing REST APIs using JavaExperience with Playwright’s APIRequestContextUnderstanding of Cucumber BDD (Gherkin, step definitions, hooks) Experience designing reusable service/page objectsFamiliarity with JSON parsing and schema validationExperience with Git and CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)Understanding of test automation best practicesAbility to write and maintain clean, data-driven testsSQL and Database testingGood communication skills and experience working in Agile teamsExperience within financial industryNice to have skills: Performance testing experienceLegacy-to-modern application migrationsTest automation development using IBM RFT
