Job Overview: PROLIM is seeking a Wire Harness Technician to support Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL. This role involves manufacturing cable and harness assemblies, interpreting technical documentation, and ensuring high-quality standards in a team-based aerospace environmentKey ResponsibilitiesManufacture and assemble cable and harness productsRead and interpret work instructions, schematics, wire lists, and drawingsVerify material identification and ensure traceability during fabrication and testingPerform quality checks to ensure compliance with engineering and ISO procedures Maintain accuracy, completeness, and adherence to shop practicesCommunicate technical issues, inconsistencies, or safety concerns to leadership Support lab fabrication and testing processes in a collaborative team environment Required SkillsCable & Harness AssemblyWire Crimping, Soldering & TerminationReading Electrical Schematics & Wiring DiagramsUse of Hand Tools & Assembly EquipmentQuality Inspection & Attention to DetailKnowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Standards (preferred) Ability to follow SOPs and Work InstructionsBasic Computer Skills (documentation & tracking)
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of related experience or additional educationAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematicsActive DoD Secret Clearance (required) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks Preferred Qualifications 4+ years of related experience or technical educationExperience with mechanical assembly and electronics testingFamiliarity with cable/harness fabrication and evaluationStrong attention to detail and quality standards
