About the role
Courier Position Gifford is seeking a detail-oriented Courier to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely transportation of interoffice mail, medical equipment, and supplies to community clinics, and other designated locations. The Courier picks up daily USPS mail from the Post Office, sorts, posts, and distributes it throughout the organization. Responsibilities also include delivering mail and supplies to off-site Gifford locations and, as needed, transporting business-related items from hospitals, nursing homes, and vendors. Deliveries are made according to an established schedule, with accuracy and professionalism. The Courier acts as a liaison between community clinics and Materials Management and ensures compliance with all regulations related to the storage and transport of supplies, as confirmed by monthly inspections. Familiarity with commonly used medical terms is required. Gifford Health Care offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
